The Role

We’re looking for an experienced Sr. Business Development Executive with expertise in outbound sales, social selling, and digital marketing. In this high-growth role, you’ll be responsible for managing the full sales process from lead generation to closed won. This position is ideal for someone passionate about Marketing Automation and Digital Marketing, who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is eager to make a significant impact in the digital marketing world.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pipeline Development & Lead Generation: Independently identify, engage, and nurture new business opportunities, using a variety of outreach methods (calling, social selling, messaging) to convert prospects into clients.
  • Discovery & Proposal Creation: Lead discovery calls, develop proposals, and oversee the entire sales cycle, focusing on SME to mid-sized businesses.
  • Sales Leadership & Target Achievement: Set ambitious goals and guide leads through every stage of the sales journey. Customize solutions, quotes, and proposals to meet clients' specific needs and expectations.
  • Relationship Building: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with senior-level decision-makers, creating long-lasting partnerships that drive sustained business growth.
  • Market Analysis & Strategy Development: Stay informed on market trends, industry insights, and competitor strategies to refine sales tactics and identify new sales opportunities.
  • Mentorship & Collaboration: Support junior team members by sharing expertise, guiding them through the sales process, and fostering a collaborative, growth-oriented team environment.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Contribute to accurate sales forecasting and planning. Manage projects with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery and reporting on post-campaign performance.
  • Innovative Sales Strategies: Develop and implement creative, consultative strategies to attract, grow, and retain business, tailoring proposals to align with clients' goals.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Sales Expertise: At least 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or channel marketing with a proven track record in social selling, and CRM management.
  • Digital Marketing Knowledge: Familiarity with CRM systems, email marketing platforms, marketing automation and broad digital marketing expertise.
  • Advanced Communication Skills: Strong presentation, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to engage senior executives effectively.
  • LinkedIn & CRM Tools Proficiency: Advanced LinkedIn Sales Navigator skills, along with experience using Salesforce, ZoomInfo, or similar CRM tools for managing and forecasting sales.
  • Goal-Oriented & High-Energy: Positive attitude, self-motivated, and driven to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Market Understanding: Experience within the Australian market, with a neutral accent for ease of communication with AU-based clients.
