Salesforce marketing cloud solution consultant Lead
As the Technical Lead, you are accountable for the Client outcomes in terms of their marketing automation implementation or operations using our best practices and your expertise and abilities to solve client problems and meet client needs.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain key relationships with a portfolio for our Client(s) by delivering a range of innovative marketing solutions in a fast paced environment.
- Lead the design of Salesforce marketing cloud solutions tailored to client business goals. Prepare comprehensive technical documentation and solution design specs to ensure clarity and alignment across stakeholders.
- Deliver and present strategies and recommendations on the implementation of marketing campaigns with confidence.
- Work with sales & presales for prospects to demonstrate capabilities and solutions that solve business outcomes.
- Operate with a consultative and strategic approach to deliver strategic solutions from campaign designing, briefing, optimisation and experimentation.
- Prioritise multiple tasks and document business requirement specifications on campaign management tools.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gain holistic understanding of clients and therefore be able to effectively present dynamic solutions.
- Own the strategic planning and management of assigned client accounts to drive long-term success and profitability. Identify growth opportunities, align solutions with client objectives, and proactively recommend initiatives that increase account value and strengthen partnerships.
- Keep up to date on new technologies, industry trends and innovations to provide informed and relevant recommendations.
Required Skills & Experience
- Degree in Marketing, IT, Computer Science or related degree
- More than 7 years’ experience working with end to end marketing campaigns and campaign management applications is desirable
- At least 1 year in a Technical Architect (TA) capacity or a comparable leadership role.
- Proven experience with end-to-end Salesforce Marketing Cloud Implementation.
- High level technical skills in Javascript, Ampscript, SQL, HTML, CSS, API integration, Data Transformation in Salesforce Marketing Cloud
- Marketing Cloud Personalisation experience preferred
- Experience with other Salesforce module implementations (E.g. Data cloud, Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, etc) would be highly advantageous
- Experience with other Marketing Enterprise Software (E.g., Adobe Campaigns, UNICA Campaign, Braze, SAS etc) would be highly advantageous
- Experience or training in Data Cloud or similar CDP platforms advantageous
- Experience in presenting solutions to clients and/or prospects
- Strong understanding of SQL and database relationship management, having worked with large and complex data sets
- Dynamic and strategic thinker with a background or experience in direct marketing industry
- A background in managing multiple key projects or consultative work with a good track record of delivering success for client or agency’s business
- Pragmatic problem solver with a keen attitude to deliver business outcomes
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; confident in client-facing discussions and influencing stakeholders.
