About the Role

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing and local and overseeing the accounting activities for Philippines and other locations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in accounting, strong expertise in financial management, and excellent English communication skills.

Role & Responsibilities:

Finance

  • Manage and supervise accounting functions for multiple locations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international standards.
  • Perform accurate and timely preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including reconciliations and adjustments.
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including the resolution of discrepancies.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
  • To monitor and ensure all taxes are prepared and submitted to the revenue department within timeline
  • Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate and timely payroll tax filings.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
  • Coordinate and liaise with external auditors for annual audits and reviews.
  • Analyze financial data and trends to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Maintain and enhance accounting systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Stay updated with changes in accounting principles, tax laws, and industry regulations to ensure compliance and provide proactive guidance to clients.
  • To perform other related duties as assigned 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting, with a proven track record of managing accounting functions across multiple locations.
  • Strong expertise in accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting.
  • Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
