About the Role
The Assistant Finance Manager will be responsible for managing and overseeing accounting and finance activities for Thailand and other locations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in accounting and financial management, along with excellent English communication skills.
Role & Responsibilities:
Finance
- Manage and supervise accounting functions for multiple locations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with local and international standards.
- Perform month-end closing, ensuring accuracy and timely preparation of financial statements under TFRS. Record and review journal entries and account analysis for all balance sheet accounts, P&L, including balance sheet account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, sales reconciliation, and revenue recognition.
- Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, including reconciliations and adjustments.
- Oversee accounts payable and receivable processes, including the resolution of discrepancies.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, accounting principles, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and ensure all taxes are prepared and submitted to the Revenue Department within the timeline.
- Prepare and keep records of withholding tax documents and payment vouchers.
- Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff and other departments on accounting issues.
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial analyses.
- Coordinate and liaise with external auditors for annual audits and reviews.
- Analyze financial data and trends to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Maintain and enhance accounting systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
- Prepare and verify monthly and yearly tax reports and submit them to the Revenue Department (PND1/PND3/PND53/PND50/PND51/PP30).
- Close monthly and yearly reports for audit purposes and submit the Audit Report, Sor.Bor.Chor.3, and a copy of the list of shareholders (BOJ 5) to the Department of Business Development.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with a proven track record of managing accounting functions across multiple locations.
- Strong expertise in accounting principles, practices, and financial reporting.
- Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
